Although The Real Thing is designed for performance surfing in smaller day-to-day conditions, one of it's most attractive features for advanced surfers is it's ability to function well in punchier hollow surf.

In essense the outline constitutes a straighter front end design with width in the nose that supports ease of paddling and drawn out flowing lines on the face, while the back end falls into a roundtail enabling tighter turns in the more critical parts of the wave.

It has fairly flat rocker throughout, with a slight nose and tail lift that integrates maneuverability. The concave has a moderate single entry moving into a double through the back third of the board which focuses on down the line speed acceleration.

Perfect for small days on the Mid Coast and down Victor in waves of up to 4ft.

Best a couple of inches shorter than your normal shortboard.
